Attributes #2
My main responsibility is giving birth to Ra, the sun god. Each day Ra sails along my belly, which tickles, I have to say, and then each night I swallow him and the world is plunged into darkness. Then, in the morning, I give birth to him, turning the sky red with my blood. During the day, the moon and stars are going through the same process and emerge at night.
I am occasionally pictured as a cow, so the cow is associated with me. In some pictures I am also seen occasionally with a round Egyptian pot on top of my head.
I do not know where I came from, as I myself am the embodiment of the sky which is a location in itself.
As I mentioned before, I am an Egyptian goddess. I also was responsible for giving birth to some other very important Egyptian gods and goddesses.
I am a very caring, mothering goddess. I had a strong desire to have children, and I was deeply in love with Geb, the god of the earth. So in love, in fact, that I had to be forcibly separated from him, so I suppose that my love is a flaw.
My friends are Geb and my children. I have few enemies, but I consider my father, Shu, an enemy because he separated me from Geb.
A pot of water is my symbol because my name is derived from the ancient Egyptian word for water.

Attributes Part 1
My name is Nut. You can call me Nwt, Nuit, Newet, or Neuth. I am the Egyptian goddess of the sky.
I am frequently portrayed as a woman stretching out across the sky with my hands and feet anchored to the earth, which makes me seem tall, and sometimes I am portrayed as a cow. My skin is varying shades of blue, and I am covered with starry markings.
My parents were the wind god, Shu, and his sister Tefnut. I have five important children: Osiris, Seth, Isis, Horus, and Nephthys. Geb, the god of the earth, is my brother and also my love.
I give birth to the sun every morning. I am a mother figure, and am frequently painted on the insides of sarcophagi to protect the dead and accompany them to the afterlife
Once, when I was carrying the sun god, Ra, high into the sky, my arms and legs became tired. As a result, eight He gods were created to help support me.
